- 1 tablespoon: Vegetable oil
- 1 bean: Vanilla
- 3 tablespoons: Balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon: Honey mustard
- 6 tablespoons: Butter, unsalted
Seasoning Mixture: - 2 tablespoons: Brown sugar

- 1 teaspoon: Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon: Sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon: Black pepper, coarsely ground

Instructions
- Mix the ingredients of the seasoning mixture together (brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper).
- Brush the flesh of the fish with the vegetable oil, sprinkle only 2 tbsp of the seasoning mixture onto it, set the remainder on the side.
- Grill the salmon on medium-high heat for about 6 to 8 minutes per side, such that the fish flakes easily. Set on the side and cover with foil to keep warm.
- Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and use a spoon to scrape the seeds into a small saucepan. Stir in the remaining seasoning mixture.
- Cook the vanilla seed and seasoning mixture on medium for about 5 minutes.
- Add the butter to the saucepan; let it melt into a creamy sauce. (The heat may need to be intermittent to prevent the pan from getting too hot.)
- Drizzle the sauce onto the grilled salmon when serving.
