Ingredients
Main:
- 1 cup: Water, boiled
- 2 teaspoons: Coffee powder
- 1 tablespoons: Milk
Whiteners (Optional): - 1 teaspoon: Sugar
Ingredient Considerations:
- None
Instructions
- Boil water in a kettle or equivalent.
- Add the coffee powder and (optional) sugar into a cezve. Then add 1 cup of boiling water into the cezve, briefly stir mixture until the coffee powder is in suspension.
- Re-boil the coffee mixture in the cezve until it lightly foams.
- Pour the mixture into a standard coffee mug. Add milk into the coffee mug and briefly stir.
Instruction Considerations:
- Before drinking, the coffee can be set aside to cool down and have the coffee grounds stratify and settle. This provides for a “cleaner” coffee beverage.
- A black version may also be made; omit the milk and sugar.
