Information
This a general recipe of spaghetti sauce. In all honesty, the serving size number is just some random value for this recipe. It has been the case that it means nothing to some families. This is nonetheless a good recipe to follow for particularly good sauce.
It is highly suggested that this meal is served with garlic bread…and spaghetti pasta noodles.

Ingredients
Main:
- 3 pounds: Ground beef
- 2: Onions, diced
- 6.6 pounds: Tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cup: Diced tomatoes
- 4: Bell peppers, diced
- 1/2 pound: Button mushrooms, sliced or diced
- 2/3 cup: Spaghetti seasoning
Spices: - 1/2 cup: Garlic, minced
- 13: Bay leaves
- 2 tablespoon: Parsley
- 1 tablespoon: Thyme
- 1 tablespoon: Salt
- 2 tablespoon: Pepper
Ingredient Considerations:
- The 6.6 pounds of tomato sauce is equivalent to 3.0 kilograms. Generally, this matches with a large #10 standard can, like from Costco or Walmart.
- Tomato puree may also be used (or a mix thereof), but the sauce will be thicker.
- Less tomato sauce may be used if diced tomatoes are added. Consider using only 5 pounds (or 3/4 of a standard #10 can).
Instructions
- In a large pot, on high, cook and brown the ground beef until it is in small chunks. Drain excess oil afterwards.
- Add diced onions and spaghetti seasoning. While constantly stirring, cook until onions are somewhat brown.
- Add all the tomato sauce into the pot. While stirring moderately, cook until the tomato sauce is bubbling.
- Add the bell peppers, button mushrooms, and all the Spices ingredients (garlic, bay leaves, parsley, thyme, salt, pepper) into the sauce.
- Turn pot heat to medium-low or low. Simmer the sauce until all the ingredients have cooked and mixed thoroughly.
